DURING THIS ADVENTURE AS I WAIT FOR DIRECTION (May 7, 2008)

-That I will grow to know Him more every day, and that I will fall more in love with Him
-For His guidance, and even if He doesn’t show me the big picture now, just for guidance
in the next step
-For wisdom in sharing all that He is doing in my life right now
-That I will be a witness and encouragement to all those around me as I travel
-For the logistics of what’s next
-For Crystal and I as we consider being coworkers
-For the logistics of the rest of this Oregon trip
-That I will be excited and resting in Him as I hang on for this wild adventure that He is
taking me on
-That I will trust Him to continue raising my support so that when I know where I’m
going, I’ll be able to go quickly
-For the hearts of the people that I will eventually be working with, and ministering too.

Praises
-The way God has been drawing me to Him.
-For all the people who have been encouraging me as I go through this time of unknown
-For what God is going to do in and through me.
-For all of you who are so special to me, and who lift me up before our Father.

Philippians 4:4-7 “Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”

PLANS AND PRAYER REQUESTS (November 1, 2007)

My long term plans, if God wills it, are to head to Brazil for a year of Portuguese study in August 2008. Then I plan to head over to Mozambique.
My short term plans are to be here in Florida for a while longer, take about a three week trip up to Michigan for some meetings, a wedding, and to visit friends. Then back to Florida for awhile, and out to Oregon sometime.
Please be praying for wisdom in the many decisions I have to make. I haven’t started the process to get my Brazilian visa yet because once you get the visa you have to be in Brazil within 90 days. Yet some people have been trying for over 6 months to get that visa and haven’t been able to get it yet. So, I’d appreciate your prayers for the paperwork to go through quickly and successfully once I start the process. Also prayer for opportunities to share with people, would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your prayer. If you have any prayer requests please let me know.

LATEST NTM PRAYER REQUESTS FROM MEXICO

Mexico (December 18, 2008)
Last weekend John and Sharon Steadman gave a glimpse of USA culture and history at the Festival of Nations in Mexico. Pray for the indigenous people of Mexico, that they would hear, understand and respond to our heavenly Father's invitation to His own great Festival of Nations. Find out more -- read the story >>

Southern Tepehuan tribe, Mexico (November 19, 2008)
More than 80 people were treated this month by a visiting dentist. The clinic revealed one of the Southern Tepehuans' fears. Pray that the cultural knowledge that missionaries Barry and Candy Wingo are learning will help them when giving the Tepehuans the Gospel message. Find out more -- read the story >>
