When you think of fall what picture comes to your mind? Perhaps you think of leaves changing to brilliant hues of red, orange, and yellow, or pumpkins, cider, and pie? Well, in Florida things are a little different. We have one type of tree that likes to show it's colors, all three at the same time. We still have pumpkins, cider and pie, but also around this time of year is when the oranges, limes, and other citrus begin to ripen. Fall also means gator season. One of our neighbors hunts gators and we had the opportunity to see the three gators he got. This has been a busy fall. My coworker Crystal Pierce came for her first visit to Florida. We had the opportunity to share at a missions conference, spend time with my family, and have a Mexican Fiesta for the youth group. Check out the next news article for more about this time. |
